My mom heard about you on Ellen and told me right away. I am in college right now studying to be a marine biologist. Shark conservation is my passion. Right now I work with a shark conservation research team based at the University of Miami in Florida. I spent most of my weekends out on the ocean, working up sharks hands on. I posted our webpage. I absolutely love it. There are so many opportunities for marine bio. RSMAS (the marine part of University of Miami) is everything I could want in a school. You should definitely keep it in mind for when you get old enough to apply to school :)

Hi Sawyer,
I am a high school teacher in Georgetown, Ontario Canada. My environmental students and I run a youth concert at our school every year dedicated to promoting marine biodiversity Sonar 2 Voice. Our next concert is Friday February 15th in the morning and our theme is sharks! Toronto was one of the first cities to go Sharkfin free. Now this is being challenged. We want to help Toronto and other cities stay shark fin free. We have Rob Stewart of Sharkwater coming as keynote speaker and everything. I would love to get you in touch with my students! I love what you are doing!! I too have a passion for sharks. I believe they are misunderstood animals. They are beautiful creatures that should be protected just like any other animal. Even if someone doesn't like sharks, I'm sure they can still see how barbaric shark finning is. You should create a petition on change.org. You will get thousands of signatures I'm sure. If you start one there, I will post it to my facebook so all of my friends can see it and sign it and pass it on.

I watched Ellen yesterday and took a peak at your site. I was impressed with the information you presented. I had never heard of shark fin soup. I live in a small town in Wisconsin and there aren't too many Chinese restaurants here, but my sister in law is Chinese. I'll have to ask her about it.

My daughter is 12 and her passion is cats (any kind, but especially lions) She wants to work in a shelter for cats when she's a little older.

Sawyer hello ... I'm a big fan of your father from Brazil and always worried about our animal friends from land and sea as well. Here in Brazil I have helped quite a project called Tamar, to protect the turtles, monthly sending some money to Greenpeace, and whenever I can I help Seasheperd, you must know. And I think that sharks are next ... we need to stop this cruel and senseless against the Sharks. I pretty you engage in this fight, since little, but I believe that with your education and your attitude, we can still hope that this world better.
